About Post : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the first-term board examinations for classes 10 and 12 offline in November-December. The board, as announced last week (CBSE Board Time Table 2021), will release the date sheet for the same on October 18. From this year, the board has bifurcated the academic session. Instead of one annual exam for secondary and senior secondary in start 25 april 2022 (CBSE Time Table 2022)

About CBSE Exam Notice

  • CBSE vide Circular No Acad-512021 dated 5 July. 2021, notified that in the session 2021-2022. Board Examinations would be conducted in two term, i.e Term and Term I. This decision was taken due to the uncertainty arising out of Covid 19 Pandemic.
  • Term I examinations have already been conducted by the Board recently. The Boar after discussions with various stakeholders and taking into consideration the CoVID-1 Pandemic situation in the country has decided to conduet she Term Il examinations offline mode as per the following:
  • Term I Theory examinations will Commence from 26 April, 2022
  •  The pattern of the questoin papers will be the same as that of Sample Ouestic Papers hosted on Boards Website
  • The students will appear in the examinations from the alotted examination centre as done during the preceding years.
  • The Date Sheet for Classes X and Xll will be released soon and the same will be available on Board’s website at www.cbse.nic.in
    Messages / information spreading on social media may be considered only after verify in the facts available on the Board’s website.

Exam Pattern Details

  • The CBSE offers a total of 114 subjects in Class 12 and 75 subjects in Class 10. “The CBSE has to conduct the examinations for a total of 189 subjects. If the tests are conducted for all the subjects, the entire duration of the examinations would be about 40-45 days. to avoid learning loss of students, the CBSE has decided that the subjects offered by it will be divided into two parts – major subjects and minor subjects,” Bhardwaj said.
  • The exam will be conducted for a duration of 90 minutes in the objective-type format. The term II exam will have short and long answer type questions and will be conducted for the duration of two hours, depending on the Covid-19 situation. The exams will start from 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am, keeping in view the winter season.
  • “Conduct of the term-1 exams, the results in the form of marks scored will be declare.
  • No student will be placed in the pass, compartment and essential repeat categories after the first term.
  • Final results announced after the first and the second-term examination,” CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said.
